I caught you walking out on wires again, falling out my window in a trick so beautiful that your father wept and your lover held his breath. You called it an act of defiance in that voice that brings me to my knees and begs me to argue with you when you know that all I really want to do is strip the pain from your insides and bed you like war. |

One who lives without love can never truly live... One who embraces love can never truly die... 'kiwi-damnation'
How is it that a poem about flight makes me feel like falling? Falling out my window. Falling through the ground. Falling or maybe flailing, I don't know which. I can't see through this green screen of jealousy.
But if I do know one thing, it's this: your skill is ninja-esque. Mind-blowingly, jaw-droppingly, coffee-spittingly good. And other such hyphenated terms.
Don't stop, please? And maybe write a book? So I can buy it and scribble in the margins and smear watercolor rainbows across the pages and treasure it for all the history of forever?
Because that would kick some serious ass.

Just kiss me once in the snow, I swear it never gets old.
I asked for an umbrella and you took away the rain.
Wonderful concept. I love the ending, it's such powerful phrasing.
