Warm winds from the west
gather clouds streaked in copper
to rattle the sky
Spiders spinning webs
weave and toy their mystery
within silken strands
Beads of warm water
glistening on your shoulder
invite damp kisses
Birds tuck tiny wings
under indigo feathers
breaking into song
First bloom of iris
a graceful stalk of azure
heralds in the spring
The smoky twilight
breaks blue over the full moon
shaking down the stars

One is not to get your hearts desire.
